CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN

A Certificate of Origin (CO) attests that all of the products in a shipment were bought, made, or processed in that nation. Local chambers are in a special position to act as the reliable and natural agency when issuing COs.

Our Services:

  • Non-Preferential COs - known as 'Normal COs' for goods that are not subject to preferential treatment

  • Preferential COs – issued for goods subject to reduced tariffs or exemptions and tend to be associated with Regional Trade Agreements. 

  • Trans Knights aims to reduce fraud risks and costs and to facilitate smoother customs checks.

COs are mostly required for customs clearance procedures to determine duties or legitimacy of imports.
